Received from the Maths Examiners at Edexcel
You might want to know about Exam Countdown, an iPod application designed to help students
manage their revision by planning when their examinations will take place.
Exam Countdown is FREE to download and can be used to plan for any test or exam at any level
and for any awarding body. Exam Countdown can be used on an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad, and
enables students to keep on track with all their exams by storing all relevant key exam dates. It
could also be useful to parents and teachers. Once they've downloaded it, students can: Stay
focused on the exams with a daily countdown,
Manage revision with 'to do' tasks, Share feelings with friends
on Facebook, Read exam tips from examiners and other students. You can find out more, including links to the Apple

Once you've installed it, you'll need to insert the dates of the examinations yourself - these can be found at http://
www.edexcel.com/iwantto/Pages/dates.aspx.

Equipment not allowed in exam hall: - Gel Pens, Calculator instructions, Correcting pens, fluid or tape, Blotting paper, Highlighter pens.
Study Skills, 6th May ~ Students have now been issued with letters giving full details.
