Mission Statement
The new mission statement results from
work undertaken by the Governors, staff,
parents and students. Through a variety
of forums led mainly by Catherine our
Chaplain and myself the statement
evolved.
Can I thank everyone who contributed an
idea or even a word because not only am
I pleased that it is so succinct but it
expresses the essence of our work.
The mission statement will be displayed
around the school reminding us all what
we are here to do, why we do it and
what we stand for.
St Catherine’s aims to:
• Be a vibrant Catholic Christian
community where there is mutual
love and respect.
• Offer opportunities for everyone
on their unique journey to
discover their talents, their
potential and to realise their
aspirations.
• Encourage its learners to make a
positive contribution to society by
living out our Gospel values.
• Celebrate and empower the
women of the future.
