A big thank you to all who attended on Saturday night last. We had a really good night and met quite a few new
people. Hope to see you all again. If you couldn’t make it, you missed out but, don’t worry, there’ll be plenty more
opportunities…… starting with the Christmas Fayre! This is our main event of the year and is always great fun
and rewarding. The feedback last year was that people would have liked it earlier so they could buy their Xmas gifts,
cards and wrapping paper. So, this year’s Fayre is scheduled for the 26th of November.
Our first meetings will be on the 3rd & 10th of November at which we will brainstorm ideas and we would welcome
any Parent/Carer to come along and pitch in. We always need help at this time of year and anyone who can spare an
hour or two, either at the meetings or on the day itself, they will be gratefully received. Another way to help is to
sell our raffle tickets. The draw is always popular and we send home with every girl. One book of 5 tickets which
costs £2.50. We also offer a prize to the young lady who sells the most books – normally a £50 Bluewater voucher.
However, if every family just buys that one book, we stand to make almost £3000!! All that for very little effort,
don’t you think? Watch this space for when we distribute the tickets.
There is still time for you to get your 100 Club applications/renewals in to Richard Franklin, via the school. Don’t
forget, you could be in with a chance to win £50 each month and a bonus £100 at Easter & Christmas.
YOU’VE GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT! (See flier attached)
That’s about it from me for now. You can always contact me, through the school or by e-mail on
donconnelloni@ntlworld.com.
I Look forward to hearing from/seeing you.
