Be Safe and Secure Online

These pages will help you and explain all about using the Internet in a safe way

If you have any concerns re any of the following:
Cyberbullying is when people use the internet or other technologies to deliberately upset others

Hacking is when your details, online accounts or other personal information is accessed by a stranger

Viruses can often accidentally arrive on your computer when sharing music, pictures or other files via the internet.

Mobile Problems
Mobiles can bring both obvious benefits as well as on occasions unwanted contact.

Harmful Content
People using the internet can come across material that is upsetting and distressing including images of sexual abuse of children.

Sexual Behaviour
Some internet users may find other people online who say unpleasant things or suggest inappropriate contact.

The internet is such an integral part of children's lives these days. It opens up so many educational and social opportunities, giving them access to, quite literally, a world of information and experiences.
