Extracurricular Activities/Visits offered

A wealth of extra-curricular opportunities are offered by the Drama team at St Catherine’s. Students in Year 7 to 11 are invited each year to join the Trinity Guildhall Drama Club where they all go on to successfully pass the Trinity Guildhall examinations.

Students in Year 8/9 are also able to undertake the Arts Award which they do at lunchtimes and we currently have 15 students who have achieved the Bronze award.

Each year the school puts on a whole school production, 2 years ago it was Hairspray, last year The Wiz and the show for the coming year is Little Shop of Horrors.  Rehearsals will begin in September.

Key Stage 4 students are very lucky to have the opportunity to visit New York, where they are able to sample the amazing productions on Broadway as well as (of course) go shopping.
