Year 7 Isle of Wight trip
Due to popular demand we have secured several extra places on the Isle of Wight trip which will take place 2-4th
Oct 2010. The total cost of the trip is £145 which includes travel, accommodation, all food and activities. If any Year
7 pupils who had not previously secured a place on the trip would now like to come, they can get an application
form from reception.
The form and £60 deposit must be returned to the school office by Friday 18th June. No deposits
will be accepted after this time. All pupils coming on the trip are excepted to have paid £100 by the end of
term (July 23rd).
This money should be left into the office at any time before that date in a clearly labelled envelope
with the payment cards.

Well done to all of the members of 7C who raised £100 for the Year 7 charity, The Little Flower

Creative Curriculum Partnership Project
This week Year 7 students embarked on an auditory project with Creative Partnership. Two professional media consulstants have been training the students on how to use sound equipment with effect.
Students are using these techniques to record sounds across the school which will be used within the Primary/Secondary Transition Project this summer. In addition to this the girls are creating an auditory commentary for our ‘Lady of Shallot’ art project. Students have been re-creating the story through art work along the Arts Media Corridor. Year 7 students now have to create the sounds to compliment it.
This is a fantastic experience, and the girls are having great fun.
