FutureChef Competition
Cook up a storm in the classroom
On Tuesday 28th November, the Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition Students competed in the School Heat of FutureChef. Students were set the task of making a savoury dish for two people within the time limit of one hour and a budget of £5. All students produced delicious, appetising, skilful food and Mrs Martin was very proud of all their achievements. The competition was judged by Executive Chef Ian Morgan from Cucina Catering and Mrs Martin. Congratulations to the two winning students Emily and Harriet who will now represent St. Catherine’s in the Local Heat to be held in January. We wish them every success in the second round of this four stage National Competition.
